"Bystanders have been calling out police brutality for years, but the most recent episode in New York City and Ferguson brings the issue to a new level. These aren't protests like the ones in 2011 that showed up to protest the death of Trayvon Martin. These are riots.
"But instead of demonstrating and calling for an end to racist police violence, many of the people protesting in New York are actually causing more damage than the police. Like those protesters who attacked a woman's head in Washington DC the other day for wearing a white hoodie.
"The fact that protesters are attacking police officers shows they care not one whit about the safety of police or the well-being of those they're attacking. This is the level of activism that we have come to expect from protesters in the age of social media.
"The fact that they are not holding themselves accountable for their actions shows how they have completely turned over the reins of their activism to the police. In the past the police simply arrested people who tried to engage in riotous behavior. Now the police are arresting people for engaging in peaceful protests.
"In Chicago, protestors were attacked by the police because they didn't have the right to stop them. In New York, officers were called to disperse an peaceful protest for shouting. These are people's lives being ruined by these violent thugs.
"In the year of 2013, in the era of Facebook, Twitter and Reddit, there is a new breed of violent political thug known as a 'black bloc' that has the audacity to stand alone in the street disrupting the lives of the police without fear of violence. These people think the police have a right to use force against them as they do against the people they want to destroy.
"Many of these protesters are young, black, male, and without a college education. Some of them were born poor, others raised in the 'hood, all of them are angry and ready to fight.
"Now these thugs are throwing gas grenades and firing rubber bullets at police to make them retreat and allow the protestors to get away with further vandalism.
"This sort of political violence is the real reason for riots, looting and violence in Chicago, New York, Washington D.C. and across America. The police aren't fighting back, they are being forced to retreat
