Pixar's Cars getting a live action remake in 2022?

Pixar's cars may be next in remaking of Disney classics

During the last 3-5 years Disney has been remaking there most popular animated movies in a new live action/CGI format. Movies such as the lion king and Beauty beast have been remade in live action and earned billions and Disney isn't stopping there. a recent leak on twitter posted by Disney animator Neil Hassman hints at a live action remake of the Cars. Hassman's tweet says " A new remake coming in 2022, we are really racing with production on this movie". Fans noticed his odd wording in the tweet and came to the conclusion that his use of the word "racing" was referring to the only Disney movie featuring racing, and that was the cars franchise. Even before Hassman's tweet fans were already theorizing about a remake of cars and hopefully fixing the hated Cars 2. All Cars fans will continue theorizing what the remake means for the franchise. And we at WGN will be keeping you updated.
