The eighth volume of Despera (the spiritual successor to Lain more or less) is back to normal despite everyone thinking that it was lost in limbo forever.

Yoshitoshi ABe is a Japanese graphic artist who works predominantly in anime and manga. He first gained fame in his work on the avant-garde anime Serial Experiments Lain. He is also responsible for the concept and character design for the series NieA_7.  As the artist on the original novel, his work is being featured in bonus post cards for the Japanese release of All You Need is Kill/Edge of Forever. The eighth volume of the Ryushika Ryushika manga about an imaginative young girl was collected last week. And all of the Sailor Moon talk has inspired him to do a bit of sketching: Chiaki J Konaka (the writer of Serial Experiments Lain) confirmed that production on Despera (the spiritual successor to Lain more or less) is back to normal despite everyone thinking that it was lost in limbo forever.
