This is a Western Gaming News exclusive interview between our journalist and Bryan Wynia, to discuss Killing floor 3, only for it to eventually be revealed by Bryan that the game is shutting down after not even a full year of development.
"The game just never took off in the way we wanted" Bryan said with a shrug. This came after a question about the games low player counts. "Player counts mean everything in a live service game. It's more important than sales or any revenue generation." When asked about why this game didn't sell well he looked at us and shrugged, saying "We should have listened to the real fans and just made Killing floor 2 in a new engine. Trying to do something new in a sequel was a terrible idea." When asked what the cause of these decisions Bryan smiled and said "Blame Embracer group. They had total creative control over the entire project and this is how it turned out. We tried to tell them it was a terrible idea but they insisted on having perks and specialists tied to each other" After a beat of silence our interviewer asks if there is anything else he would like to add before the interview ends. Bryan looks at the camera and says "April Fools!"
